One year ago, I was going through staff training week at camp, just having gotten through my first upper division course, contemporary logic design. I wasn't quite sure of myself, and I could definitely have been getting more out of my relationship with God. But now, I've finished advanced data structures, algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, computer architecture, theory of computation, web programming, and also an intermediate microeconomics course. I've taken part in student ministry and have been used by God in so many ways. I've promoted an event that brought 350 people in front of an apologetics speaker. Just one of the many things that I have been amazed by through this incredible year.
By far, this year has been the most influential in my life. There were the good times and the bad times for sure. There were a few weeks of the quarter where I was just trying to make it through the day because everything that happened was so awful and I just wanted it all to be over. But I know that through God's work I am quite a different person than I was a year ago.
I plan on writing some blogs about some of the stuff that I've learned over this last year and what I feel passionately about. So stay tuned over the next week or so as I start blogging again!
